The Megaphone is a service of Movalta Global Ventures ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect through https://themegaphone.mgvhq.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you submit. When you use our inquiry or contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, business name, and the message you write to us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure generates standard server and CDN logs, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and timestamps. We use this to operate and protect the site. We do not collect more than what is described here.

2. How we use your information

• Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
• Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• Communicate about a potential or existing engagement.
• Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies

We use only essential, operational cookies necessary for the site to function and stay secure. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not allow advertisers to track you across other sites through our site.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site and respond to inquiries, and only as needed for them to perform those functions:

• Cloudflare — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), CDN, and email routing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery, for example routing a site inquiry to us.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Movalta Global Ventures, our users, or others.

5. Marketing email and your choices

If we send you marketing email, every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can opt out at any time using that link or by contacting us (Section 11). Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or relationship messages, such as a direct reply to your inquiry.

6. How we handle client-delegated access

For clients who engage The Megaphone, we manage social media and email marketing on the client's behalf through delegated access, such as OAuth authorization or assignment of a business account or asset. We never ask for or store client account passwords, and the client can revoke access at any time through the relevant platform.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain legitimate business records. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing email (Section 5). To exercise any right, contact us using Section 11; we may need to verify your identity first.

California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

EU and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR). If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

9. Data security

We rely on reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
